Dame Family Month

July our lives were overtaken, to our pleasure, by sisters/aunts and niece-nephews/cousins (with a dash of bros/uncles and extended family thrown in). All of Mark's sisters came to stay with Grandpa & Grandma in Ontario for various lengths of time throughout the month, and we went up to Donnelly (a change from the usual McCall) for a long weekend in the middle.
Pioneer Day was celebrated big time by our ward, with some musical help from Mark.
Of course, most of our time together is spent out back at Grandma & Grandpa's house: swimming, tree-house-ing, trampolining, hide-and-seeking, ball playing, or just plain eating.
There was also some archery practice and a trip to see the animals at the county fair.
We snuck in a group picture of the WHOLE FAMILY (except Spencer, who's still on a church mission in northern Florida).
My favorite thing each year is getting to catch up and have real heart-to-heart/face-to-face convos with my faraway sisters. Close second this summer was Claire's pseudo adoption of David as her own baby. I never had to worry about him! (I even tried to convince her to stay with me... ;)
All good things must come to an end (who said that? I'm too lazy to Google it) and so it is with summer cousin fun. 'Til next year my lovelies!
