Soccer!!

Isaac's games were so fun to attend this season! He played so well, skillful and aggressive, scored several goals, and really helped his team.

This season was also fun because our friends, the Jenks, had a son on the team, and they have kids Charlie & David's age too. Sideline entertainment was a great fringe benefit!

Sam decided he wanted to play a little soccer, too, but he decided to do the clinic. Just Saturday mornings for a month - he was definitely the most competitive. He loved scoring goals during scrimmages!

Charlie caught soccer fever himself. He spent many an afternoon around the house wearing his brother's old, but still too large, soccer shoes - and even wore them out to some of the games.

He was delighted to join in on the final day of Sam's clinic as well!

For the first time, I think we're actually not relieved to have the season over. It was a blast!

  2. Over so soon? Don't we all have memories of tromping around in those over-sized shoes of someone we love?

  3. Hey Kerri-
I'm not sure if you'll remember me but we went to the Branch together in Ontario in 2001/2002. I found your blog through some friends and you've got some pictures of my nephew in this post that I'd love to have you email me! He's in teh 3rd and 8th pictures. The little goalie. If you could email them to me that would be great! temporaryhome4kids at gmail dot com.
    Thanks a bunch!
