Settler's Park

Thursday, the day before Isaac's birthday, my brother flew into town to spend the weekend with us. On our way to Boise we ran a couple errands, including going to Deseret Book and letting Isaac pick out his own set of scriptures and get his name engraved on them. Mark also found a (youth) book on the Civil War on the bargain table that he knew Isaac would like. He sure did: he was a third of the way through by the time Dan got off the plane! (The book has 256 pages.)
Once we had our beloved Uncle Dan, we went to Meridian to pick up an early dinner and take it to Settler's Park. This is a fabulous place with a large creative playground, a duck/fishing pond, and a fountain/spray area for kids to get soaked!

Here's David, happy in the stroller, bottom teeth peeking out...
