Who's that guy?

There is a young man who we feel is a part of the family. He speaks Russian and Romanian as well as English. His best friend is a Hindu Indian. His favorite team is the Liverpool Football Club. His name is Ion, but we call him JON!!

Sunday evening, we came over to the grands' to say goodbye to Jon, the once-upon-a-time exchange student who lived again with them this summer while he had a college internship in Nampa. His presence was a definite highlight to all our activities this summer - Jon is the BEST at playing with the kids, especially soccer and Foosball. Thanks to all the practice he afforded, Isaac vastly improved in both arenas, and his generosity provided our family with a new soccer ball, to boot. (pun intended) He is always smiling, always helping, and we are so grateful for all the time we spent with our dear Moldovan friend!
