Monday we finally had the chance to hook up with my dad. Our afternoon goal was the KidsQuest Children's Museum in Factoria, but before that we decided to enjoy the sunny but not-too-hot morning exploring Kubota Garden in Renton (then lunch at Red Robin). We had such a great time!
Sam loved holding the map and telling us where we should go next.
The trails looped around and connected to each other all over the place, but I think we managed to see everything there - and it was well worth it.
The children's museum was also a big hit - the boys pretty much had to be dragged out of there even after four hours! They loved playing in the water exhibits, the air science tubes, the real Peterbilt truck cab, the rock band studio, the tree house, and even the toddler area (with it's huge wooden train set). From there we said goodbye to Papa and took a little detour to the temple so the kids could have a visit.
Remembering our church President Thomas S. Monson's words, "As we touch the temple, the temple will touch us," we encouraged the boys to go up and do just that.
While I moved on around the grounds, Sam decided to explore those stairs behind him and touch a bit more of the temple...
Exhausted, we headed back to home base for the night. Monday's movie: Casino Royale.

Love those photos of you and your family! Wow, someone is a photographer!
