Bug Day in Boise

Thanks to a Groupon bought earlier in the year, and a reminder from Mark's bug-loving friend at work, we spent a chunk of our Saturday at the Idaho Botanical Gardens checking out some insects, spiders, and other creeping things.

 They also had stickers, tattoos, and games.

And even though the air was thick with smokey smog from recent forest fires, we also just enjoyed the gardens.

Previously we've only been here at Christmastime so it was a treat to check things out in their natural green environment. So happy we now have a family pass to incentivize us to visit more often, especially next spring.
