Date on the Payette River

Mark surprised me last Saturday with a not only a fabulous date plan, but even hiring the babysitter! We set out to spend the last couple hours of daylight on the water in our little orange kayaks. We put in at the Payette bridge and got out just after that river merges with the Snake, at Centennial Park. I kept my camera wrapped carefully in a plastic bag kept under my knees most of the time, but in calm waters and scenic locations, I pulled it out.

I'm so glad I brought it!
Now I just need to remember to pull the paddles out of the back of my van...
