Charlie's a Little Star

In December we decided that Charlie was mature enough to attend pre-preschool at Heather's Little Stars, where Sam went. It's been a wonderful experience - perfect for him at this time. He's made friends, gained confidence in drawing & coloring, and has started to write his name! His final month was extra special with two field trips.

First they went to a local dairy farm. He saw cows being milked by machine, got to drink the fresh milk, and walked out to see the cows in the yard.

The second field trip was to the Fruitland Firestation. Definitely not Charlie's first time, but it's not often he gets to actually go for a ride with the siren on! He wanted to go to put out a real fire, but was appeased by getting to (help) hold the powerful hose.

Charlie loves that he got another "firefighter helmet" to wear. Even a kid that dresses as a firefighter every day wants some variety!
