Good Times with Grandma G

My mom came to stay with us for a week - to play with her grandsons, celebrate a birthday, and hang out with & help her favorite daughter. Only daughter, but still.
Right away we got some relatively quiet hours, just her, me, and David as Mark took the boys out on Free Fishing Day. Isaac caught the biggest one:

On a day of perfect weather, which also happened to be Sam's birthday, we went to the zoo. (I'm sparing you the animal shots this time. Well, caged animals anyway *rim shot*)

It was also David's 5.5 month "birthday." Hehe.
That evening, it was time for the Super Six-Year-Old Sam-a-Rama Party. (Otherwise known as having grandparents and some cousins over for ice cream sundaes and opening presents.)

The rest of the time with Grandma G was spent more quietly... reading, visiting, letting the boys play video games on her laptop, taking turns holding the baby, letting me get a massage and go to Costco w/o the gang. Thank you for everything GG - you know how much we love you & miss you already!
