Firestation Field Trip

His last week of preschool, Sam's class got to visit the firestation, have a ride in a truck with the siren going, and shoot off the firehose (or dance in the water, alternatively - it was 90 degrees or so). Many parents and additional kids tagged along, too.

Sam said I had to include this picture of he and Brinlee, though it was definitely not the happiest looking snapshot of the day. I agreed because it may be the only picture we have of him next to his first "love." Definitely something to remember.

We came home that night and did Family Home Evening on fire safety and worked out our own family emergency plan. This was my third time going to the firestation with the kids... I think we can skip this particular field trip for at least another two or three years. I am very open to suggestions for future field trips for my little troup of homeschoolers though!
